As glad as I am to have my SLR back from the repair shop, I’m always amazed at the power of cameras attached to other devices like smart phones. These days, just about every other peripheral has within it some kind of a camera, enabling ALL of us to showcase images of our lives around the world.
As the sun was setting yesterday evening on my walk home, I stumbled by this particular placard on the street. I found the quote rather profound both in and out of context and wanted to capture it in the light surrounding it caused by the evening sun. My posts on the weekend are usually my more personal posts (be they iPhone, or some other experimental kind) and today is no different. I really enjoy the contrasting colours and light-to-dark tones in the image… and the quote reflects it all nicely together as one.
