I’d like to introduce the new lady in my life – Laney.
She’s an eight-week old black labrador retriever and is currently chewing my house to pieces. And I love it. She’s a tiny little thing but she’s got soooo much energy & has definitely been keeping my hands full for the past couple of days (thus explaining the interruption in my Angkor series and blogging frequency).
I adopted her from a local rescue here in Seattle who saves dogs from being euthanised when homes cannot be found for them. What a privilege to save such a precious life and enjoy her company for the next many years. I’m always looking for ways in which I can give back or to support local non-profits, and for the past year I’ve been wanting to share my home with a dog… what better way to do so than to combine these two ideas.
