The Way Forward

A friend and fellow photographer today asked me what I thought about the idea that given the availability and affordability of high quality digital cameras today, that photographers would be out of business one day. People wouldn’t buy images anymore because they could so easily take the same image on their own.

Are the images that people can take on their own and upload to Facebook or tweet about simply enough?
